A UX project for the AI-powered sales recruitment platform, PolarisJobs, aimed at assisting the company in designing an efficient and user-friendly recruitment tool tailored for US startups and SMEs to easily find the ideal sales candidate.

My Deliverables

  • Conducted research, including formulating interview questions, conducting interviews, and synthesizing insights.

  • Formulated strategic concepts, defined project scope, and contributed directly to the design work.

Problem Overview

How might we help recruiters to hire the right salespeople easier and faster for startups/SMEs in the US?

When hiring sales candidates, recruiters often grapple with a high volume of applications, verifying overstated qualifications, essential soft skills, and domain-specific knowledge needs.

Solution Overview

Our solutions blend human evaluation with AI efficiency, streamlining note-taking, reducing bias, and saving recruiters time. This fosters clearer communication and empowers recruiters to assess candidates comprehensively. Ultimately, our system helps recruiters find the ideal candidates more efficiently.


01. User Research

Interview Finding

Assessing Candidate Attributes and Soft Skills in a Competitive Market

We conducted interviews with 12 participants, specifically HR professionals, and recruiters, all of whom possess extensive experience in the hiring process and a deep understanding of its pain points.

We took notes when interviewing the participants, and organized the notes based on different themes by using the affinity map.
